IGEL Technology accelerates growth with appointment of ETC Pluz as new distributor
5 July 2006 Clever Clienting now also available at top 3 distributor in the Netherlands; distribution agreement signed for full IGEL Windows and Linux product ranges
Bodegraven – July 5, 2006 – IGEL Technology, a leading European manufacturer of thin client computers, today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with ETC Pluz, one of the leading distributors in Europe specialized in server solutions and software. ETC Pluz adds value by offering a wide range of services including an advanced demo facility – the Enterprise Solution Center – financial, leasing and rental services, as well as consultancy and training.
IGEL Technology develops, manufactures and markets one of the broadest ranges of Microsoft Windows and Linux based thin client computers available today. These thin clients provide standard functionality for heterogeneous infrastructure environments, are customizable, and can be centrally configured and managed with the free of charge IGEL Remote Management Suite. The Management Suite makes it possible to remotely install and configure thousands of clients simultaneously and to update firmware from a distance.
The company has also developed specialized products for a wide range of market segments, including the retail sector, the care industry, the financial sector, the automotive industry, government, education and research. These products give customers maximum flexibility in implementing cost-efficient Clever Client solutions in heterogeneous computing environments.
