You want to reset a Linux based Thin Client back to Factory Default but have forgotten your password. How can you nevertheless reset this Thin Client?

If you have forgotten your administrator password and you want to reset the Thin Client , you receive a terminal key and the Firmware version, which is currently installed on the Thin Client. With these two values you contact IGEL Support . Then you receive a Reset Key.

IMPORTANT

Do NOT switch off the Thin Client after receiving the terminal key. After a RESTART the Thin Client will automatically generate a new terminal key.
