Responsibilities- Execute and enhance the IGEL worldwide sales strategy
- Management of all channel sales and end user relationships
- Manage the performance of manufacturer reps and channel partners
- Provide accurate sales forecast, detailed business plans and competitive industry intelligence
- Lead and develop the current sales organization (channel, inside sales and systems engineering/support)
- Provide exceptional skills in communications, negotiations and development of complex, high-value and long term sales contracts
- Develop and manage efficient processes for reporting and reviewing progress with sales executive management, including monthly and quarterly report management, CRM management, etc.
- Be an effective and outspoken evangelist for the company, representing the company in communications with customers, partners, and industry participants
Facilitate good communication, respect, and responsiveness in working with internal organizations
Qualifications- 5-8 years in senior sales management positions in a B-to-B oriented IT technology company with strong focus/background on server based computing
- Experience in server based computing and IT infrastructure technologies strongly preferred
- Demonstrated capability and track record as an individual contributor sales executive, as well as in the development of a sales team
- Strong experience adopting, leveraging and implementing sales processes that ensure high performance and efficiency
- Detailed understanding of the major account strategic selling process and pipeline development. Proven capability winning new business and growing existing business. Exhibit ability to optimize efforts to efficiently achieve sales objectives
- Strong technology insight, especially in server based computing solutions. Experience with digital services like TCP/IP, WiFi, VoIP, legacy terminals, JAVA, streamed media, etc.
- Ability/experience in building relationships and credibility with sales engineering, product marketing, product management and R&D (Engineering) to understand and support sales initiatives
EducationBachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university – technical degree preferred; or four+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the IT business related field is required
Technical Skills- Proficiency using MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, internet, and email required
- Proficiency using a CRM tool
