Partner Account Manager

Location: Asia Pacific (APAC)
IGEL Technology GmbH is a subsidiary of C. Melchers GmbH & Co., a Bremen trading firm formed in 1806, and active throughout the world. The company, whose headquarters are in Bremen, and which has branches in Augsburg, Reading (UK) and Fort Lauderdale (USA), is one of the most innovative, leading international manufacturers due to its internally-developed thin clients, which are based on Windows CE, Windows XP and Linux. In the coming years we will be expanding our position. In the course of this expansion we are looking to fill the following positions at our office, Asia Pacific (APAC):
  • Partner Account Manager

Your tasks
  • Acquisition and supervision of IGEL distribution partners in the APAC region
  • Reseller partner acquisition, including using the GET IGEL partner programme
  • Realisation of agreed objectives (contribution margin and quantities) in indirect sales and distribution
  • Responsibility for customer-specific and segment-oriented solutions regarding the acquisition of new customers, and the continuation of existing customer relationships in the APAC region
  • Supervision of relevant contact partners for partners and key accounts
  • Expansion of cross-selling possibilities
  • Creation of customer and market analyses

Your profile
  • University degree or qualified commercial training
  • At least 4 years experience in the sale and distribution of IT solutions
  • Demonstrable successful activities in IT partner distribution
  • Business level of English
  • Experience of dealing with Asian culture at business level
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and goal-oriented work, as well as ability to be a team player
  • Excellent relationship management, high dynamism and motivation, flexibility and self-confidence, and excellent communication skills
