Partner Account Manager US

In addition to high-quality hardware, the advantages of IGEL thin client offering specifically include the ability to meet customer needs within vertical segments like healthcare, retail, government, financial services and others.

Responsibilities
  • Execute and enhance the IGEL US sales strategy
  • Maintain, recruit and develop channel sales partners by the GET IGEL Partner Program
  • Business development with end users to support the channel partner and implement the economic and technology advantages of IGEL products and services
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, detailed business plans and competitive industry intelligence
  • Implement the agreed targets (margin and units) for the channel sales
  • Provide exceptional skills in communications, negotiations and development of sales contracts
  • Efficiently processing the reporting and the reviewing progress with sales executive management, including monthly and quarterly report management, CRM management, etc.
  • Be an effective and outspoken evangelist for the company, representing the company in communications with customers, partners, and industry participants
  • Facilitate good communication, respect, and responsiveness in working with internal organizations

Qualifications
  • 5-8 years in end user sales and channel sales positions at a B-to-B oriented IT technology company with strong focus/background on server-based computing and virtualisation
  • Experience in server-based computing and IT infrastructure technologies strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated capability and track record as an individual contributor sales representative
  • Strong experience adopting, leveraging and performing sales processes that ensure high performance and efficiency
  • Detailed understanding of the major account strategic selling process and pipeline development. Proven capability winning new business and growing existing business. Exhibit ability to optimize efforts to efficiently achieve sales objectives
  • Strong technology insight, especially in server-based computing solutions. Experience with digital services like TCP/IP, WiFi, VoIP, legacy terminals, JAVA, streamed media, virtualisation technology etc.
  • Ability/experience in building relationships and credibility with sales engineering, product marketing, product management and R&D (Engineering) to support sales demands
  • Distinct relationship management, high momentum and motivation, flexibility and high self-esteem, excellent communication skills

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university – technical degree preferred; or four+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the IT business related field is required

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency using MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, internet, and email required
  • Proficiency using a CRM tool

Performance Skills
  • Excellent oral communications skills, written communications skills, relationship building skills, presentation skills, influence/interpersonal skills, customer orientation, problem solving skills, analytical skills, and decision making ability required
  • Good team interaction/effectiveness skills required
  • Excellent multi-tasking ability preferred
  • Technically savvy and effective in working with internal teams, clients and other industry related contacts
  • Able to travel up to 90% of the time
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
  • A valid driver's license is required.
