Cendio ThinLinc is a Linux-based SBC solution that allows virtualized applications and desktops from various system environments (platforms) to be provisioned by means of a standardized user interface in LAN and WLAN systems. ThinLinc is primarily based on open-source software and offers a wide range of functions, including encryption, single sign-on (SSO), clustering and comprehensive printer management. On the server side, ThinLinc supports the following types of applications: Microsoft Windows 7 / Windows XP, Windows Server 2008 R2 (RDP), Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop (ICA), UNIX/Linux (X11), HTML and Java. Support from IGEL Software and Hardware:Cendio ThinLinc is supported by all IGEL Universal Desktop thin clients running IGEL Linux (LX) and using the ‘Advanced’ firmware package. | |
The SBC solution Ericom PowerTerm WebConnect allows flexible and secure enterprise-wide provisioning of mission-critical applications. PowerTerm WebConnect supports Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and Citrix XenApp. It also supports blade PCs, legacy-host systems as well as 14 different hypervisors for virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI), among them VMware ESX, Citrix XenServer, Microsoft Hyper-V, Oracle VM and Virtual Iron. Furthermore, this solution also provides a centralized, standardized management interface. Support from IGEL Software and HardwareAll IGEL Universal Desktop models and IGEL’s UDC software with the ‘Standard’ and ‘Advanced’ firmware packages come with Ericom PowerTerm WebConnect Client.
