Responsibilities

  • You are the first point of contact and advisor for managers and employees in all compliance matters
  • Together with Legal, you are responsible for the observation, implementation, and further development of the Compliance Management System (CMS) and the Data Privacy Management System (DSMS)
  • You analyze and monitor compliance and data privacy risk and are responsible for designing, assessing and complying with the necessary policies and procedures in the Group. This also includes the analysis and evaluation of new or upcoming regulatory developments and their impact on the business activities of the entire company
  • You monitor, analyze, assess and evidence local structures, processes, procedures and controls and embed appropriate control and training activities to promote an effective compliance program (including data privacy)
  • In close coordination with Legal, you will deliver your subject matter expertise in manifold projects and advise on the implementation of relevant internal controls
  • You are responsible for developing communication initiatives (e.g. compliance campaigns, employee information, compliance articles, setting up and maintaining internal communication platforms)
  • You prepare compliance reports and organize the necessary committee decisions
  • You will interact closely with our data protection officer and deliver conceptual, administrative and organizational tasks in the area of data privacy

Qualifications

  • You have a law, commercial law, or economics degree with a focus on law and/or compliance or in a similar discipline
  • You have several years' experience in the implementation of compliance or equivalent activities in a business
  • You evidence proven knowledge gained from successful completion of professional trainings in compliance
  • You enjoy the intercultural exchange and the further development of the Group's compliance and data privacy management system
  • You have business acumen paired with the ability to assess operational activities and decision processes, and to transfer experience from similar situations
  • You convince with your commitment, your confident manner and social intelligence, and proceed in a structured and analytical way; you like to familiarize yourself with new topics
  • You have a talent for communication and can positively contribute and assert yourself at all management levels
  • You work independently and solution-driven
  • Experience in international project management is an advantage
  • You are proficient in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams and have affinity and experience in using digital tools
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English proficiency
