  • Design and implementation of data analytics applications based on Microsoft’s BI Platform
  • Recommend and advocate industry trends, best practices and future-proof architecture for data analytics, from warehousing to visualizing to mining
  • Consulting partner to IGEL’s internal departments
  • Initiating, planning, managing and reporting of implementation projects
  • Contribution to IGEL’s overall architecture / design of IGEL’s application, process and data landscape
  • Provide, organize and ensure service delivery to IGEL departments for IGEL’s Microsoft-based data applications
  • Manage and report incidents, perform escalation / coordination of major incidents
  • Involve, contract and manage external service providers based on budget and SLAs
  • Set up a (small) team of data specialists
  • Provide guidance and leadership to your team members
  • Collaborate closely with other teams within IGEL’s international organization
  • Contribute to IGEL’s work culture and work experience


  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in business informatics, computer science or comparable subject or comparable experience with conceptual strength and above-average comprehension
  • 8+ years’ work experience as consultant / architect / project manager
  • 8+ years’ work experience in the area of business intelligence / data analytics
  • Experience in channel and subscription based industries / processes is a plus
  • First experience as team leader with disciplinary responsibility is a plus
  • Experience in leading changes / projects with lateral leadership responsibility
  • Leading / managing external service providers
  • Profound experience in ETL, data modelling and data warehouse concepts
  • Strong experience of working in data driven organisations
  • Strong experience in project management (classic, agile)
  • Strong experience in Microsoft-based data platforms (Azure, SQL Server, Power BI)
  • Experience in data mining and / or process mining is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, fluent written and spoken English
  • Solution-oriented, collegial, supportive attitude
  • Creative mindset with a proven ability to deliver
  • Ability to create and have impact
