The Role

We’re looking for an exceptional marketer to join our team. The Field & Channel Marketing Manager (FCMM) position delivers direct (field) and indirect (channel) marketing programs to West and Central time zones and is a critical resource in creating meaningful engagements to drive pipeline via these routes to market. This position is responsible for planning, executing, analyzing, and optimizing all marketing activities to achieve pipeline goals.

The primary goals of this position are to increase awareness and drive demand for IGEL’s products and solutions. The FCMM will work closely with the local sales teams, corporate marketing team, and go-to-market partners execute events, demand generation programs, and channel actions.



  • Execute high-performing marketing strategies to ensure goal achievement across West and Central United States
  • Deliver comprehensive, sustainable and effective quarterly and annual growth marketing plans for new lead and pipeline generation and joint partner marketing.
  • Plan, deliver, and measure joint partner marketing programs and campaigns to support channel strategy and sales goals.
  • Report on all marketing campaigns and activities, including KPIs and ROI on weekly and quarterly basis.
  • Collect proofs of performance including registration and attendee lists, associated marketing activity costs before submitting invoice for payment. This only applies for channel marketing development funds reimbursements.
  • Track and quantify the performance and effectiveness of programs to make data-driven decisions and increase ROI of initiatives.
  • Work closely with Sales Leaders, ISRs, SDRs, Channel teams as well as our partner eco-system to achieve opportunity and revenue goals.
  • Lead co-marketing efforts with key alliance partners to expand IGEL’s reach within target accounts across multiple industries.
  • Monitor lead follow up and conversions to opportunities to build a solid pipeline within all regions and focused industry verticals.


  • 5+ years of experience in technology marketing preferred with strong emphasis in channel and field marketing
  • Deep understanding of all modern demand generation channels and when to deploy each type of activity for maximum effectiveness
  • Demonstrated marketing skills and ability to deliver measurable results
  • Understanding of VDI, DaaS, and other virtualization technologies
  • Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools such as Act-On, Microsoft Dynamics or similar
  • Account-based marketing is a plus
  • Ability to travel (10% - 20%)
  • Flexibility, integrity and creative problem-solving skills
  • Be a team player who builds good working relationships across all levels
  • Possesses superb detail oriented and organizational skills
  • Has a positive and strong work ethic
  • Must be a self-starter who is comfortable in fast paced work environments
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
