The Company

Work is now defined by what we do, not where we go. The widely distributed workforce is here to stay, and IGEL OS allows people to thrive in their work from anywhere, while organizations retain full management, control, and security of user endpoints regardless of which endpoint device they use. IGEL OS secures and simplifies digital workspaces in healthcare, finance, retail, higher education, government, and manufacturing organizations around the world. All we’re missing is: YOU.

IGEL’s vision is to transform the way the world works, creating better outcomes for people, organizations, and our planet. We deliver on achieving this vision by having the best people, an innovative product, and a plan delivered with passion.

Be bold. Take risks. Imagine a better way to work. If we just described you, then we really need to talk.

  • Create certification exams based on learning and performance objectives.
  • Use MS Office, Articulate, the Adobe Creative suite, Camtasia and/or native authoring tools to create online content to facilitate learner engagement in our Learning Management System.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand and characterize learning needs for customers, Channel Partners and employees.
  • Become proficient with IGEL technical best practices, business use cases, and terminology in order to converse with subject matter experts and translate complex, technical processes into language that business stakeholders can easily understand.
  • Curate and adapt a wide range of existing content to build meaningful learning experiences.
  • Manage and administer Learning Management System with team members as required.
  • Occasionally assist with delivering on-site training for partners and/or customers as well as training at IGEL sponsored events.
  • Other duties as assigned by IGEL management.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development.
  • Proficient with learner needs analysis, storyboarding, and collaborating with subject matter experts to extract critical information.
  • Proficient with course development software including TechSmith products, the Adobe Creative Suite, and at least one learning management system.
  • Able to write and edit instructional content—including video scripts—with a minimal amount of editing from supervising staff.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design best practices.
  • Acute attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with designing and developing training for software systems in a corporate setting.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Journalism or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Possesses working knowledge of visual design and UX principles.
  • Familiarity with scripting and/or API development a plus.
  • Background in endpoint computing technologies, Linux OS, or Windows administration helpful.
  • Comfort with public speaking and the ability to deliver lessons in front of small and large groups.
  • In addition to English, fluent in German would be a bonus.
