The Role

To strengthen our Product Management team, we are looking for a new team member at our locations in Augsburg, Karlsruhe, Bremen or Remote as

Senior Product Manager (m/f/d)

IGEL’s technical and creative heart beats in the IPG business unit. Here, departments such as Product Management, Software Development and Technical Documentation work hand in hand to create the next generation of our software products. The Product Management team is the think tank and the future workshop – at the same time, it holds the reins when it comes to implementation and must face up to customer solutions realistically and pragmatically.

You are responsible for the expansion and alignment of our management software portfolio. Your activities include customer meetings in which you collect requirements and feedback, as well cooperating with technology partners to develop holistic solutions.

Qualifications

  • An understanding of how company IT works and a degree or comparable training with at least 6 years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of software development and Linux to assist you working with the development department
  • The ability to understand complex contexts, to develop content independently and to present it to different stakeholders
  • Familiar with cloud environments, virtualization, XaaS and demand management
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to develop our relationships with technology partners
  • Enjoy working in a vibrant environment, collaborating with colleagues on the big picture and celebrating successes together
  • A deep rooted (or keen) interest to see how we shake up the IT industry with our products.
