The Role

This is a remote position. The candidate is expected to travel throughout the assigned region to provide the necessary consulting and implementations services in an efficient and effective manner.

The Solutions Architect is part of IGEL Global Advanced Services team and operates as a highly-skilled technical and business resource.  The Solutions Architect will provide best practice consultation on IGEL solutions including system architecture, workflow diagrams, third party system integration, and solution implementation and deployment.

A strong desire to learn and a “can do” attitude is needed. You will be working with an experienced, motivated team willing to share their knowledge and experience to help you expand your skillset and succeed in reaching your goals.


  • Install, configure and Optimize the IGEL OS Solutions
  • Use of remote tools to assist customers; troubleshoot and debug Citrix, VMware, Amazon Workspaced and RDS sessions on the IGEL OS
  • Provide technical best practices for partners and customers; build and maintain customer and partner rapport; ensure clear, professional communication between our teams and the customer
  • Maintain knowledge of technology trends by attending trainings and reviewing current technical publications
  • Focus of work is the DACH region and support in international projects
  • Documentation of your work


  • Experience in consulting
  • Experience with VMware Horizon, Terminal Services, Windows Virtual Desktop, Citrix
  • Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux
  • Must be willing to travel at least 50%
  • Knowledge of common networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
  • You are able to grasp complex interrelations and independently develop content
  • You like to collaborate with your colleagues toward a common goal
  • Very good written and spoken English
