The Role

IGEL is seeking a full-time video editor/designer who can work within our digital marketing team. In this role as the Video Editor, you will be crafting a wide variety of social media videos under the guidance of the VP of Digital Marketing and other key team members, utilizing both doc-style and corporate approaches to media that will be viewed across all marketing channels.  Additionally, you will be creating basic 2D graphics and print design for promotional materials. This is a great opportunity for an accomplished editor/designer to come on staff and apply their skills to our creatively disruptive tech marketing projects. The ideal candidate will be a great team player who is enthusiastic, inventive and resourceful as well as detail-oriented, someone who can work both collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Editing videos for social media, sales and marketing events
  • Creating basic graphics and digital design to be used in websites and promotional materials
  • Assist marketing team members with product videos and print design

Qualifications

  • Previous editing/graphics/design experience, on staff or as freelancer, in a professional business environment
  • Samples/reelProficiency in Video Editing and basic Graphics applications: Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid, Final Cut Pro and AfterEffects Premier
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, HTML, CSS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented and strong follow-through
  • Strong teamwork skills; cooperative working style
  • Flexible and responsive; able to perform in a dynamic work environment
  • You are inspired to create and willing to think outside the box
  • Dependable with a strong sense of urgency
  • Upbeat and enthusiastic with an authentic "can do" attitude
