The best days in business are when you hear that a client is very satisfied and spreading the word to their colleagues. Since I joined IGEL I have been looking at customer care stories and enjoyed this previous post from Allen Fox, Infrastructure Manager at Bend Memorial Clinic, an Oregon healthcare provider with five locations, Allen wrote about endpoint technology and his search for the perfect solution for an anticipated 1,000 units. Some of the benefits Allen was looking for were great enterprise management; various levels of models with a similar form factor and a range of CPU and video options, and upgrade ability and long term support.
After an unsatisfying try with another vendor, Allen discovered IGEL at Citrix Synergy and was wowed by IGEL’s endpoint options. As he put it, “while the hardware seemed perfectly suited for our needs what really got us was the firmware and management software.” He also liked IGEL’s integration with Citrix and Imprivata which we detail in a case study. “We had chosen Imprivata and the IGEL line has fully embedded support for the Imprivata ProveID system – this was a huge plus,” said Fox. “We use this feature on almost every IGEL in our clinics. It provides an easy way for our clinical staff to use their security badge to access their desktops with strong two factor authentication options.”
