IGEL Recognized as a Key Vendor Serving the Midmarket

Named to the first-ever MES Matters list, IGEL ranks among forward-thinking companies that are supporting the growth and innovation of midmarket organizations

SAN FRANCISCO, June 29, 2022 – IGEL, provider of the managed endpoint operating system for secure access to any digital workspace, today announced that it has been recognized by Midsize Enterprise Services (MES), a brand of The Channel Company, on the 2022 MES Matters – Key Vendors Serving the Midmarket list.

The MES Matters list recognizes vendors that have proven themselves to be forward-thinking technology providers offering solutions that support the growth and innovation of midmarket organizations. MES defines the midmarket as an organization with an annual revenue of $50M-$2B and/or 100-2500 total supported users/seats. Companies were selected due to their go-to-market strategy, how they serve the midmarket, and the strength of their midmarket product portfolios.

“The midmarket is very important to IGEL and our partners as about 80% of our customers come from this sector, which in turn generates around 50% of our revenue,” said Balaji Subramanian, Senior Vice President and Global Channel Chief, IGEL. “We are proud to be featured as part of the inaugural MES Matters list, and look forward to continuing to help our partners and their customers in the midmarket sector meet the evolving demands associated with today’s hybrid work environments through our fully-managed endpoint operating system that provides secure access to any digital workspace.”

IGEL is being recognized on the MES Matters list for providing midmarket organizations with an endpoint operating system for delivering VDI, DaaS and cloud workspaces that is highly secure; easy to manage and provides a rich employee experience with support for unified communications and collaboration; can sharply reduce operating expenses; and, offers support for almost any device including existing thin clients, PCs, laptops and for ‘IGEL Powered devices’ from HP, LG, Lenovo, DynaBook, OnLogic and NComputing ARM devices.

“Our relationship with IGEL is key to our differentiation in the marketplace,” said Andy Whiteside, CEO and Founder of XenTegra, an IGEL Elite Partner. “We derive 60% of our revenues from the midmarket, and IGEL has played an important role in helping us drive success and improve the user experience for businesses in this space. When we partner with IGEL in the midmarket, we win in our goal to create long term customers. We congratulate IGEL on being recognized by The Channel Company for leadership in the midmarket.”

“The MES Matters list is designed to recognize key vendors that are invested in the growth and development of midmarket organizations which according to Harvard Business Review 3/21, represent only 3% of US businesses but are responsible for 33% of private sector GDP and employment. Technology is often designed and priced for either the consumer in mind, or the extreme opposite for the large enterprise in mind. Midmarket organizations are unique in the way they are structured and as a result their technology needs and requirements from features to pricing are very different than other market segments,” said Adam Dennison, VP Midsize Enterprise Services, The Channel Company. “The vendors and executives identified on this first-ever MES Matters list have shown a consistent commitment to help midmarket organizations succeed and thrive, they should be recognized and commended for their dedication to this important market segment”.
