SAN FRANCISCO, December 16, 2020 – IGEL, provider of the next-gen edge OS for cloud workspaces, today announced that it has been recognized as the winner for the “Best COVID-19 Responder” as part of the 2020 Channel Partner Insight Innovation Awards. IGEL was presented the award during the virtual awards ceremony that is now available on the Channel Partner Insight website.
IGEL was recognized by Channel Partner Insight for supporting partners and customers in 2020 through its “Work from Home Kit,” which supports the deployment and management of the IGEL OS across the internet securely, enabling IT organizations to manage and support thousands of endpoints, regardless of where the end user is working from. IGEL is also been honored for the efforts of its employees around the world in manufacturing, development, sales and back-office, who have been working longer hours and over weekends to ensure IGEL is helping it channel partners deliver solutions to those that need it most, as quickly as possible. In early April, IGEL asked its 400+ employees around the globe to wear their IGEL #BELIEVE T-SHIRTS while working from home and send in their pictures and videos to help everyone stay positive. They posted a video on social media and after an overwhelming response from channel partners and customers, decided to extend the #BELIEVE program outside of IGEL. To date IGEL has sent thousands of t-shirts and seen hundreds of posts wearing these shirts on social media, and has also made donations to a number of local and global charities as part of the campaign.
