VMware Explore 2022: Be Sure Your Multi-Cloud Journey Includes IGEL!

VMware Explore is nearly here. The iconic event, supporting a fresh new name for the future, will be the ideal time to explore all the ways IGEL empowers the digital workspace journey. With the theme “Map Your Multi-Cloud Journey,” it couldn’t be a more fitting opportunity to discover all the ways IGEL secures access to any digital workspace, on any cloud.

During the event, August 29 through September 1 in San Francisco, IGEL will be offering attendees the opportunity to test drive IGEL OS to see how easy it is for any device to connect into a VMware Horizon desktop or application set.

Find us in booth #1915 to see just how vibrant unified communication tools, from Microsoft Teams to Zoom, work on an IGEL-powered virtual desktop. In the booth, attendees can also register for the IGEL “Why Compromise” campaign which offers the opportunity to take delivery of an LG or Lenovo laptop that’s pre-installed with IGEL OS so you can bring the demo home to fully explore all that IGEL offers.

The advantages of using IGEL OS with VMware? For environments running Windows desktops in VMware Horizon, IGEL offers easy management, robust security and higher productivity. IGEL also allows VMware Horizon enterprises to save on budget and resource time so they can do more with less.

Achieving Environmental, Social and Governance Goals

During the event, you won’t want to miss IGEL Senior Presales Engineer Chris Feeney in the breakout session, “How EUC Aligns with and Helps Achieve ESG Goals.” Here, joined by Jack Madden, Senior PMM for VMware and Benjamin Jones, Founder and CEO of Mobile reCell, Feeny will explore how organizations and investors around the world are making commitments to environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.

During the session, they’ll cover how enabling remote work reduces commute emissions and makes opportunities more equitable. They’ll show how supporting BYOD, better asset management and virtual desktops reduces the resources that go into sourcing and replacing endpoints. And they’ll explore how drop shipping devices can reduce shipping costs, and more. It’s a can’t miss session for any organization looking to further their company’s sustainability and social responsibility programs while still aligning with governance requirements.

Work Hard, Play Hard

Of course, after VMware Explore attendees have discovered all the ways IGEL can enhance their digital workspaces on VMware Horizon, it’s time for a little fun! Join IGEL, ControlUp and LG for a night of drinks, snacks and arcade games at the Thriller Social Club. The event, on Tuesday, August 30 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. promises to deliver a great chance to unwind with some great music and swag – not to mention some full tilt arcade gaming!
