As the Head of Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, I lead our global collaboration with key technology partners like IGEL. Within the IGEL Ready ecosystem, my role is to strengthen our joint value proposition, drive deeper technical integration, and ensure customers benefit from secure, seamless, and scalable EUC solutions. I work closely with IGEL and shared partners to align product strategy, go-to-market initiatives, and field engagement, enabling organizations to deploy virtual desktops with greater confidence, efficiency, and security.

What major trends are shaping your customers’ strategies as we move through 2026? How does that complement the IGEL platform?

Jim Luna: Customers in 2026 are prioritizing zero-trust security, AI-driven threat response, and simplified, secure EUC operations. Organizations are increasingly adopting zero-trust architectures and leveraging AI/ML to identify and respond to threats more quickly and effectively.

How has participating in the IGEL Ready program helped amplify your innovation, reach new markets, or improve customer experience?

Jim Luna: Participating in the IGEL Ready program has strengthened Nutanix’s ability to innovate and better serve customers by ensuring a smooth integration between the Nutanix Cloud Platform and IGEL’s Secure Endpoint OS. This alignment has simplified deployments, improved virtual desktop performance, and created a more consistent user experience, directly boosting customer satisfaction.

What are you and IGEL building together that shapes what’s Now and Next for secure, modern EUC?

Jim Luna: Nutanix and IGEL are building a secure, modern EUC platform that pairs IGEL’s preventative, zero-trust endpoint OS with Nutanix’s resilient hybrid multicloud infrastructure. Together, we deliver end-to-end secure virtual desktops, stronger ransomware protection, simplified management, and flexible VDI/DaaS/SaaS access, all engineered for what’s now and next in EUC.

How do customers benefit from the combination of your technology and the IGEL Secure Endpoint OS Platform?

Jim Luna: Customers benefit from the Nutanix + IGEL’s Secure Endpoint OS Platform combination by gaining a stronger, simpler, and more secure EUC experience. IGEL’s preventative, zero-trust endpoint OS dramatically reduces the attack surface, while Nutanix provides hardened, resilient infrastructure with built-in encryption, ransomware protection, and simplified management. How does your solution support or enhance IGEL’s Preventative Security Model?

Jim Luna: Nutanix shares a common vision to deliver a Secure Digital Workspace to a variety of customers across multiple industries, including public sector, healthcare, finance, and more. Securing the workspace and the underlying infrastructure is paramount to Nutanix and our joint customers.

What will you be presenting or demonstrating at the event?

Jim Luna: We will demonstrate why Nutanix is the premier infrastructure platform for end-user computing, delivering choice, flexibility, performance, and scalability. Whether in the cloud, on-premises, or hybrid cloud, Nutanix provides a single-pane-of-glass management to deliver and manage EUC workloads across domains and environments.

 Jim Luna: I’m hoping to gain deeper insight into how customers are evolving their EUC strategies, especially around AI, security, hybrid cloud, and cloud adoption. Where do they see the biggest opportunities for simplification? I also want to hear directly from partners and practitioners about the challenges they’re facing at the endpoint and in the data center so we can continue shaping our joint roadmap with IGEL to deliver even more secure, efficient, and future-ready EUC solutions.
