IGEL’s Divya Saggar Named to CRN’s 100 People You Don’t Know But Should List

CRN pays tribute to the IT channel’s best and brightest rising stars whose efforts are helping the industry reach new heights

SAN FRANCISCO, September 28, 2020 – IGEL, provider of the next-gen edge OS for cloud workspaces, is pleased to announce that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Divya Saggar, Senior Manager, IGEL Alliances, as one of the IT channel’s 100 People You Don’t Know But Should for 2020. This annual list honors the best and brightest under-the-radar individuals who power the channel toward success, each and every day.

Prior to joining IGEL in March of 2020, Saggar held partner marketing roles at Citrix, IBM and Softchoice, working closely with partners to drive joint go-to-market campaigns, and ensuring they were best equipped to address customer needs. Saggar is a seasoned alliance professional with a proven track record for modernizing customer-centric alliance program frameworks that help today’s technology leaders align their go-to-market strategies with partners, at scale.

During the last six months, Saggar has been instrumental in the design and launch of the IGEL Ready Program. IGEL Ready opens up the company’s core enterprise software for any technology partner to integrate and validate their products. Technologies from over 90 companies are already integrated within IGEL’s platform — including AWS, Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, and Zoom, and that number is expected to double by 2021. Ultimately, the program creates an ecosystem where customers can consider compatible devices and applications across a range of categories, quickly deploy to their virtual desktop or cloud workspace, and securely access from any device equipped with IGEL software.

As part of the IGEL Ready launch, Saggar has driven the strategy and execution of several key elements to serve partners, including technical integration, on-boarding, program benefits and co-marketing. Additionally, she helped spearhead the launch of the new IGEL Ready customer and channel facing website, and the IGEL Ready Showcase, featuring the entire ecosystem of best-in class partner technologies integrated with IGEL OS. The initiative also included building a self-service partner portal to allow automation of processes for partners joining the program. Within one day of the launch, Saggar was able to demonstrate the importance and need for the program through the collection of more than 20 testimonials from partners, customers and channel partners.

“Congratulations to Divya on being recognized for the successful launch of the IGEL Ready program, a widely celebrated initiative across the IGEL community that comes at a critical time for our industry as we evolve to meet the needs of work-at-home and hybrid end-user computing environments,” said Balaji Subramanian, Global Channel Chief, IGEL. “In just six months with IGEL, Divya has demonstrated remarkable energy and passion for our partners and customers. Not only does she have the knowledge and experience needed to deliver this important new program to market, but also the creativity required to keep it fresh and compelling.”

Jim Airdo, Vice President of Business Development, IGEL added, “Divya has tirelessly worked very vigorously over the last six months to skillfully define the IGEL Ready program’s many value propositions and important messaging, including all partner-facing content, collaterals, resources, guides and tools for promoting the program. Thank you to CRN for honoring Divya among this year’s rising stars in the IT channel.”

Based on feedback from leading solution providers and industry executives, the CRN editorial team uses the 100 People You Don’t Know But Should list to draw attention to those outstanding channel players who may not be household names, but still work tirelessly to keep their partners thriving and the IT channel growing.

“Managing a successful channel partner program today calls for a small army of people, but only a few Channel Chiefs tend to enjoy widespread recognition,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “With the 100 People You Don’t Know But Should, we are delighted to shine a spotlight on an exceptional group of unsung team members, giving them some of the acclaim they deserve for their indispensable contributions to channel success.”

The 100 People You Don’t Know But Should will be featured in the October issue of CRN Magazine and can be found online at www.crn.com/100people.
