SAN FRANCISCO, May 11, 2020 – IGEL, provider of the next-gen edge OS for cloud workspaces, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Enit Nichani, Vice President of Marketing and Kimberly Nicola, Senior Marketing Manager, to its esteemed 2020 Women of the Channel list. Recognizing the unique strengths, vision, and achievements of a select group of women, this prestigious, annual list acknowledges channel leaders who are blazing a trail for future generations.

Nichani has been featured on the CRN Women of the Channel list for four years in a row, this is the third year in a row that she is also being recognized among the Power 100, an elite subset of the annual Women of the Channel list. This is Nicola’s second time to be featured on the list.

“Enit and Kimberly have a tremendous amount of passion for the IT channel, and have played an important role in IGEL’s growth and success in North America,” said Simon Townsend, Global CMO, IGEL. “Their innovative ideas and hard work have been especially impactful in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, during which time they have quickly pivoted to support a busy schedule of virtual and online events designed to drive success for both IGEL and our channel partners. As we continue to work together with our partners to align with the evolving needs of our mutual customers, I’m incredibly proud of the enormous impact that they are making here at IGEL, and across the channel as a whole.”

During 2019, Nichani led the execution of the IGEL “I Challenge Everything” contest that included the give-away an all-electric Porsche Taycan to one lucky winner, and cash prize for the winning customer case study that promoted the success of both the customer and the partner. IGEL Platinum and select Gold level channel partners were able to leverage the contest through co-branded campaign kits and co-hosted demonstrations. Ultimately, the contest drove leads and new sales opportunities for IGEL and its channel partners.

Nicola collaborated with IGEL channel partners across North America in the planning, development and execution of more than 110 channel activities, during 2019. In addition to managing both Platinum and Gold partner relationships, her accomplishments included helping IGEL partners utilize more of their MDF to transform single events into multi-touch campaigns that included an in-person events, webinars, call-down days and social media promotions – further extending IGEL’s reach and generated more leads and opportunities for the channel partner.

“We are thrilled to see Enit and Kimberly celebrated by CRN for their exceptional accomplishments,” said  Bridgette Borst Ombres, Vice President, Communications and Strategic Partnerships, A2U. “Through their smarts and creativity, they’ve helped build a memorable IGEL brand that’s winning on authenticity, innovation and partnerships. As an IGEL Platinum Partner, we have seen the tremendous value that comes from their partner enablement incentives and programs. What separates IGEL from the rest is a willingness to take risks and push the envelope – and behind that simple, powerful differentiation are two marcom leaders to watch in tech.”

“CRN’s 2020 Women of the Channel list recognizes an accomplished group of influential women leaders whose strategic vision and unique achievements accelerate channel growth through cultivated partnerships, innovative thought leadership, and unwavering dedication to the IT channel,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are proud to honor them for their accomplishments and contributions to driving channel success.”
