Qumu to showcase its Video Engagement Platform as part of the IGEL Ready Ecosystem
(Following is a guest post provided by IGEL Ready partner, Qumu)
Qumu is among a select group of exclusive partners to participate in the first annual IGEL Partner Pavilion at HIMSS 21, the healthcare industry’s information and technology event of the year. Here, alongside IGEL and other key IGEL Ready partners, Qumu will be showcasing its Video Engagement Platform – Making Video Smarter.
For healthcare providers, edge computing technology innovation has a direct impact on patient outcomes and clinician productivity. This will be on full display during HIMSS 21, the first in-person event of the year in the IGEL Partner Pavilion. During the event, IGEL Ready partners will be showcasing how their technology integrates with IGEL OS to empower healthcare organizations with innovative and secure edge computing solutions.
During the live event, held August 9-13 in booth #2859 on the main expo floor of the Sands in Las Vegas, Qumu will be demonstrating how clinicians and healthcare professionals (HCP) can leverage video for executive communications, staff and patient education, emergency comms and many other applications including Key Opinion Leadership (KOL) webcasts.
Healthcare providers are operating in an enhanced digital environment, one that includes more virtual interactions than before the pandemic. Clearly, the pandemic was a catalyst for this behavior. Relevant and highly targeted video content is now being consumed on their own time. A study by Accenture found that 69% of HCPs believe that pharma companies’ digital patient education is more helpful today compared to before the COVID crisis. Many HCP have shifted to video to engage and humanize the delivery of patient care and education. With Qumu HCPs can reimagine the healthcare experience securely while maintaining full control of their video content.
Can’t-Miss Demos, Presentations
During HIMSS 21 Qumu will also be a featured presenter in the IGEL Partner Pavilion theater. Don’t miss the presentation “Reimagining the healthcare experience with video engagement” presented by Joe Mast, Senior Sales Engineer. It will cover how to amplify healthcare knowledge through a branded video experience and searchable library of content.
Qumu is one of the IGEL Ready partners who will be providing live demos of technology that integrates with IGEL OS to enhance the security, productivity and manageability of the healthcare endpoint during HIMSS 21. Partners in the IGEL Ready ecosystem are helping healthcare organizations shift to the future with innovative technology for the roaming, shift working healthcare provider. Specifically, IGEL OS and its UMS management software are ideally suited to support a shared workplace, with secure policy controls and management. IGEL OS also enables easy user access so physicians and clinical staff can get to work quickly, in whatever device and location they’re using.
