Inspired by our own unique founding story, which began in a small attic in Bremen, Germany, IGEL is now unveiling a new YouTube-based podcast series of expert conversations: The Attic.
This exclusive video series will feature vibrant, genuine conversations with some of the end user computing industry’s great leaders. Hosted by IGEL CEO Jed Ayres, renown guests will discuss the origins of great companies, their successes and failures and what they see on the horizon for today’s technology world.
Joining the first Episode of The Attic is Mark Templeton, former president and CEO of Citrix who charted the company’s course for over two decades. He’ll share insights into the growth of Citrix, challenges he faced along the way and how he steered the company to become the leader it is today in delivering secure, unified digital workspace technology.
“In my Citrix era, it was about inventing the market and creating our own wind to define the market. At this point in time, the tailwinds are being created by natural demand for work from anywhere in combination with heightened sets of issues around information security, data-loss protection as well as reaching talent where it is, as opposed to talent that’s in specific geographic areas. So, I think it has never been a better time for this kind of remote-desktop technology. At the same time, now we have new technologies where they were written from the very first line of code to be cloud-native, and with a cloud-native approach, you get a service level. You get telemetry. You get security. You get performance. There’s just no other way to get it.” – Mark Templeton
